I am a curious person interested in many subjects, including:

In addition, I also deal intensively with current topics. Lately, I have been particularly fascinated by artificial intelligence.

I love to discover and learn new things, for example by:

• travel
• conversations
• visiting museums
• reading books and eBooks
• films

My favourite genres are non-fiction, comics, crime and science fiction.

I like to go for walks and love the beauty of nature. Be it the sea, the sky, trees, flowers, birds or butterflies. I am also fascinated by the architecture and street art in cities. I am fascinated by their history and culture.

I like to try out new things in all areas. My values for openness and agreeableness are high.

As a child of the 1960s, I grew up with the series "The Jetsons" and "Star Trek". My favourite is "Star Trek: The Next Generation" with Captain Picard. The optimism, humanism and values of the Galactic Federation in this series particularly appeal to me. I appreciate science, technology and space travel.

As a child, 3rd world hunger, the Vietnam War and Nazism shook my faith in the perfection of the adult world. In my adult life, I would like to contribute to making it better.

Since my youth, I have been involved as part of the global peace movement and for a fairer, more social world order. I see the UN with its Charter, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the International Covenants on Civil and Political Rights (UN Covenant on Civil and Political Rights) as a good example. and the International Covenants on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (UN Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights) as a solid basis for a better future for humanity. Unfortunately, these officially recognised principles have so far been insufficiently implemented.

Fundamental values such as kindness, empathy, fairness, non-violence, justice, truthfulness, equality, partnership and the "Golden Rule" ("treat others as you would like to be treated") are particularly important to me. I believe that they are present in all religions, cultures and philosophies.

I have a broad knowledge and a high ability to learn, which enables me to quickly familiarise myself with different areas. My strengths lie in research, creative problem solving and communicating complex issues in an understandable way. I am also good at empathising with others and listening to them, even if they have completely different backgrounds and beliefs.

Apart from that, I have been trying to pay more attention to my health for about 5 years now and to become a bit wiser with time.
